Job Description

Fox Sports Florida / Fox Sports Sun is currently seeking a Motion Graphic Designer! In this position, you will be responsible for the design and creation of broadcast motion graphics that support the production teams for Fox Sports Florida/Fox Sports Sun events and original programming. This role requires collaboration with our staff and freelance employees, as well as the many different team partners, social personnel on production and content. This role also requires up-to-date industry and new technology knowledge to enhance all of our various team brands and graphic designs. This person would specifically support our events by building creative assets for studio wall graphics, teases, coming up bumps, animated full screen graphics, 3D Graphics, animated maps, and animations for all of our shows.

Responsibilities include:
• Supply animated graphic elements in the following ways:
• Original Content Graphics Packages (Show Intros, Segment Animations
• Teases & Opens
• Bumps & Promos
• Motion Graphic Design of Player ''Gladiator'' Intros and Cappers
• Player action shots & photo timelines
• Animated Player Stats and Milestone Graphics
• City Scenic shots with composited player images and team logos
• In Game Elements (transitions, wipes, logo flys)
• Animated Maps
• Studio Specific elements
• Monitor Wall Backgrounds
• Touchscreen & Telestration Graphics
• Game coverage of our 6 different team partners - Miami Marlins, Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning
• Studio integration during road games for 5 of our 6 team partners as well as our High School Football Under the Lights Weekly (around 250 studio shows per year)
• Post-Produce 30 min episodes for 4 of our 6 team partners (about 50 episodes per year)
• Collaborate with the Digital Content Department to create content for use on our network digital and social platforms primary focus being web, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of relevant experience
• A strong knowledge of sports (baseball, basketball, hockey and football specifically) is necessary
• Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Premeire Pro
• Demonstrated proficiency with 3D animation and motion graphics
• Demonstrated mastery of Cinema 4D or AutoDesk Maya preferred
• Due to the nature/scope of the position, selected candidate must be able to take high-level project direction and plan, execute, and deliver completed projects within time sensitive deadlines; and be willing and able to travel and work remotely with non-traditional hours (nights and weekends)
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment is essential
• Knowledge of television studio environments, including the ability to work flexible hours is necessary
• Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are also necessary
• Knowledge of remote production and technical equipment is a plus
• Basic editing skills is also a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is required
