Finance Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

The Manager, Finance is primarily responsible for managing the financial analysis and approval process (Greenlight) of the shows produced and licensed by Telemundo and providing financial support to the Revenue Strategy and Innovation team. This position works closely with multiple teams across the organization including all centralized revenue groups and business unit leaders. Additionally, this role will assist in managing other special projects as required.

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Revenue Strategy
• Primary point of contact on all greenlight requests out to revenue and cost groups ensuring deliverables are accurate and prepared on a timely basis
• Serve as Power User/Administrator of tools/systems used to manage Greenlights (BPC, etc)
• Partner with Revenue Strategy team to assist with the evaluation of new business/monetization opportunities
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Greenlight Committee meetings
• Responsible for monthly and quarter close duties of all overhead costs for Revenue Strategy team (e.g. journal entries, travel & p-card reviews, payroll analysis, account reconciliations, and other duties as needed)
• Automate and maintain detailed schedules of all relevant revenue streams, monthly costs and variances
• Lead preparation of annual budget, estimates, and long-range plan by thoroughly understanding key business drivers
• Special projects & Ad Hoc Analysis as required

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 4 years of relevant financial analysis, reporting and corporate accounting duties
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• General accounting knowledge required
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to identify issues and problem-solve effectively
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Must be able to work well independently and take ownership of projects

Desired Characteristics
• Experience with SAP strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success with systems and data visualization tools
