WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design, implement big data systems to enhance the massive data processing and analytics in user understanding domain in Hulu
• Continuously improving system performance to handle challenges from growing business and data
• Cooperate with data scientist, data product manager, marketing, advertisement sales to drive user growth in an open and innovative environment
• Continuously improving engineer practice, promote quality of service
• Recruit, hire and mentor junior developers

WHAT TO BRING
• BS, MS degree in CS related major, 3+ years working experience
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and big data platforms, experienced with massive data processing and high performance backend service engineering, including but not limited to Hadoop ecosystems, streaming systems, time series data processing
• Rich experience on system design, performance tuning
• Independent, energetic, highly technical, and thrives under pressure and ambiguity. Strong advocate of software engineering practices and agile approaches
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English and Mandarin Chinese

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience on CRM/DMP/user persona related work
