Animation Production Coordinator

Job Description

Production Coordinator Position:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to all production-related communications in a timely manner as well as gather and distribute production materials
• Before materials are sent to partner studios, oversee the process of quality control such as tracking sheets and all reference material
• Update and maintain storyboard pipeline schedule
• Learns the necessary computer programs and network directory system
• Manages day-to-day tracking of Storyboard team as well as managing the storyboard handouts between the Leads, Artist and track their progress.
• Set up files, keeping a log of start/completion dates or production progress and labeling all material clearly.
• Track all pickup lines given from the story department and make sure they are implemented into the final shipping of animation
• Coordinates shipping of materials to partner studios and ensures that the work is labeled and filed properly
• Manages day-to-day tracking of Storyboard assets in production database
• Maintains daily output information of storyboard department
• Perform check-ins with members of production, artists and supervisors to determine the status of work on the show
• Stays abreast of issues within the team, anticipates potential issues and elevates information to Associate Producer and/or Line Producer.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Software requirements: Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Excel, Gmail and knowledge of production tracking databases
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Shotgun, and Storyboard Pro is a plus
• Ability to work with partner studios
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment

Desired Characteristics

• Minimum 2 years of previous TV animation production experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
