Job Description

Responsibilities
The NBCUniversal National Ad Sales organization is responsible for $8 Billion of National Ad Sales revenue across all of the NBCU Broadcast, Cable Television, and Digital properties. A significant portion of the sales account executives and leadership's total compensation is incentive based and tied to the properties revenue performance against targets that are administered and operated by the Ad Sales Finance group. The Director role is responsible for stewarding the design, delivery and ongoing administration of the sales incentive program. This role works closely with Leadership across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Planning and HR, including the Chairman, Presidents and CFO. We are looking for a well-rounded thinker (innovative, analytical, strategic) who is able to communicate across all levels of an organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Conduct the operations, administration and analytics for the NBCU National Ad Sales incentive compensation plan
• Work with the Sales incentive committee on all plan design, modeling, analysis and communication across the organization
• Partner with the employment law department in developing and revising compensation plan details as needed
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, Finance, Pricing/Planning, and Sales Solutions teams to assist in the quarterly/annual target setting process across all TV, Digital, Partnerships and Product teams
• Audit targets and revenue quarterly to establish alignment with Ad Sales pricing across all teams
• Manage the quarterly close process to ensure proper incentive calculations, forecasting/ accrual reporting, compensation cost analysis, and accurate payroll submissions
• Prepare and deliver the quarterly/annual sales incentive results for review by Senior Sales, Finance and HR executives
• Manage communications across the Ad Sales organization regarding calculation details, process and payment timelines
• Responsible for ad hoc finance, compensation and performance analytics

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or any equivalent experience
o Minimum 10+ Years of Experience in Finance, Compensation, Consulting or a Business Analytics related field

Desired Characteristics

Desired Characteristics:
o Consulting or Sales incentive management experience is a plus
o Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint
o Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
o Effective interpersonal and communication skills with experience in client-facing role
o Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with an overall commitment to quality and accuracy
o Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate high volume of information & draw clear conclusions/recommendations
o Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while being able to operate independently and take initiative when needed
o Flexible with changing priorities and a quick learner
