Fall 2020 Virtual Intern – HBO Max/TNT/TBS/TruTV Post Production

The Team
Our team is laying the foundation for HBO Max, and we need highly motivated, uniquely skilled, and technically agile experts across a variety of disciplines to accomplish things that have never been done before.

The Job
The selected Intern will spend 7 weeks working with the HBO Max/TNT/TBS/TruTV original programming Post Production department.

The Daily
• The selected Intern will spend 7 weeks working with the HBO Max/TNT/TBS/TruTV original programming Post Production department. Although the Intern will spend the majority of his/her time in Post Production, the Intern may have exposure to Production, Creative, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, and Public Relations on an ad hoc basis.
• Past interns have sat in on meetings, have worked on various projects, attend professional development workshops/classes, as well as assisted with basic day-to-day administrative needs (including, but not limited to, basic data entry, copying, etc., and other duties as needed).
• Interns should be open to any project requested with the overall goal of attaining a broader understanding of the Industry within a very busy television network.

The Essentials
• Should be able to commit to 7 weeks for the internship and work around 25 hours per week.
• Should be self-motivated with a great attitude, be able to multi-task, have the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to function well on projects with short deadlines and quick turnarounds.
• Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Although not required, it is preferred that the candidate be pursuing a degree in Film/Television or a related field.
• Due to current COVID-related restrictions, candidate must have the ability to work remotely.

The Fall 2020 program dates are October 19th through December 4th. The internship will be a full remote/virtual experience. Most internships will provide a company owned laptop for the duration of the internship program. Interns are paid a competitive wage based on team/bureau location and relocation is not provided as the program is fully remote/virtual. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled in college or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
