DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include:
• reading, analyzing, and tracking submissions;
• managing large flow of projects from inception through paperback publication;
• keeping office organized, scheduling meetings and filing expenses
• preparing forms and materials for editorial department, marketing, and sales, including detailed tip sheets;
• preparing and routing contract paperwork;
• writing and tracking catalog copy;
• detailed follow-through on all production-related tracking;
• agent and author liaising and correspondence;
• writing copy for social media campaigns and internet marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in book publishing highly preferred.
