Job Description

Responsibilities
The Vice President, Content Monetization is responsible for strategic planning and performing thorough deal analyses for revenue projections. Responsibilities include:
• Partner on the development, implementation, and changes of effective growth strategies and processes.
• Assess the company-wide content library including determining rights/availability, content windowing and segmentation by distribution platform and asset pricing.
• Create content lists, set deal terms and pricing, drive partner negotiation and overseeing rights clearances in collaboration with distribution sales, legal and senior management.
• Work with content teams to align Network and FEP content strategies and sourcing and ensure seamless collaboration.
• Liaise between content and insights to provide product analysis and recommendations to maximize ratings and inform decisions; via show formats, Nielsen's reporting practices, etc.
• Drive brand awareness, network priorities and increase revenue opportunities working with the Peacock team.
• Identify opportunities and synergies between the streaming service, Telemundo network and Telemundo Global Studios to build awareness and drive revenue across both businesses.
• Help drive revenue growth through alignment with Ad Sales partners and Revenue Strategy & Innovation team.
• Support the greenlight process.
• Partner with Finance for LRP and annual budget process.
• Advocate for data-driven decisions as it relates to development, creative, and budget allocation
• Partner with cross-functional business leaders to communicate and align strategy across departments and business units
• Work closely with the team to assess and recommend solutions that improve profitability.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related and a minimum 15 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years experience in Finance or Business Development in media or related industry.
• Extensive experience conducting thorough deal analyses for revenue projections
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience
• Exhibits extensive knowledge of production operations and planning

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
