Overview and Responsibilities

We have an exciting new opening for a Director of Workplace Culture and Diversity Initiatives within CBS Sports.

CBS Sports, a year-round leader in television sports, broadcasts a portfolio of events on the CBS Television Network, including ''NFL ON CBS;'' college football, including the ''SEC ON CBS;'' college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship; golf, including The Masters®, PGA Championship and PGA TOUR; and ''CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR.''

In this position, the Director will drive the strategic planning, development, execution and measurement of CBS Sports' initiatives for a diverse and inclusive workplace. Key to this role is the ability to effectively build trusted partnerships, create and maintain credibility and influence senior partners. The position will dually report to The Chairman and the President of CBS Sports.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute tailored strategies, programs and experiences that cultivate an inclusive culture and promoting real transformation within CBS Sports
• Engage and build positive relationships with and provide thought leadership to our executive management team and staff, in partnership with the Office of Global Inclusion
• Establish a comprehensive diversity strategy for the CBS Sports Group, focusing on workforce goals, employee engagement, content strategy and community awareness/partnership
• Develop and use dashboards and metrics as a strategic decision-making tool for leaders
• Influence better decisions related to people practices and HR priorities through compelling data, analysis, and recommendations
• Partner with Human Resources on the overall strategies, practices, and processes at each stage of the employee life cycle
• Develop and implement strategies in partnership with HR and Recruiting leaders as it relates to finding, growing and retaining talent
• Support the advancement of internal talent, and continue to build an inclusive work environment
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and support all diversity-related sponsorship opportunities and membership affiliations
• Act as liaison and provide ongoing partnership with the ViacomCBS employee resource groups
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure that inclusion is considered and coordinated into all aspects of our internal and external communications, and to support regular communication of diversity initiatives, events, and progress

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience

Additional Qualifications
• Experience in media with a production environment; ideally in Sports
• A proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple partners, including senior level leaders
• The ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with speed and accuracy while being highly organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to develop insights, telling stories, driving decisions, and measuring impact
