Job Description

The Copy Manager leads a team of copy editors in a fast-paced traffic hub environment.

Duties include:

Responsible for managing copy for your own markets and oversight of copy within the HUB.

Checking daily with copy staff, including all team leaders.

Consistent training of new hires and retraining of all original copy staff, as required and utilizing WO trainers as necessary.

Stand in to fill openings/vacations/relief- of team leaders

Strategize with management team to ensure all procedures are being followed by staff; continuously evaluating performance levels and recommend market assignments to match up skill with degree of difficulty.

Work with individual markets for feedback and constructive input

Performs other duties as assigned or required
• Primary responsibilities include acquisition and input of local, national and network commercial copy, completion of network affidavits, and filing

Requirements & Skills:
• High School diploma
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum one year's experience in broadcast television.
• Proficient with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners and other office equipment
