JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Consumer Platforms & Engineering Design (CPED) is the internal creative agency setting design and brand direction for Fox's digital products. We are responsible for the user experience and visual branding of a wide range of digital platforms (iOS, Android, web, tvOS, Fire TV, Xbox, Windows) for our sports, news and entertainment apps in North America. Our team oversees all phases of the design process, from concept to design production. We work closely with a brilliant team of product owners, engineers, and business owners to apply strategic design solutions or insights to delight customers.

CPED is looking to add a UX Designer (UXD) to its team. You will collaborate with team members and lead UX and UI design initiatives for our sports, news and entertainment brands across all our consumer products including web, mobile and set-top box devices. Working with the design director, you will lead design and evolve our next generation of app and web experiences. You will help problem solve, experience challenges, and concept and direct design solutions all the while collaborating with other internal divisions such as product, marketing, content operations, and technology.

We are looking for a UXD who is proud to be part of a tight-knit family of designers responsible for creating user-centered, beautiful, and effective applications and websites that will be seen by millions of users across the U.S and abroad. You are excited and motivated to work with world-famous brands such as Fox Entertainment, Fox News and Fox Sports. You have a passion for experience and UX and UI design; you take pride in working for a team that strives to deliver the best user-focused experiences that balance the needs of the user with those of the business. You feel satisfied when you complete and polish every UI detail in your work, adhering to design systems and standards as needed. You also love to work with others on building the larger vision, making sure that the details support the larger business and user end goals. You feel you are reaching a "Bob Ross" level in your design work, but you are always eager to learn and expand your skills. You are not afraid to take risks but you also welcome and appreciate guidance and direction from senior members of the team. Sound like you? If so, keep reading.
