Funimation's in-house creative team is looking for a seasoned Director, Creative Production. This role will be responsible for leading a team that supports various global marketing functions, creating efficiencies within production processes and enabling best in class marketing work. This position reports into VP Creative and works closely with the Creative Directors, Franchise Brand Managers, head of Audience Development, and VP Funimation Brand Creative.

This person will partner with global business team leads and directors to develop and sustain the most collaborative, professional and effective production team possible to help the creative team service a growing group of internal Funimation Global Group partners and tentpole initiatives. Supporting Streaming (SVOD), Home Entertainment (DVD Blu-ray), Ecommerce/Shop, Theatrical releases, and AVOD.

She/ he is adept at creating production models that can scale, eliminate inefficiencies, maximize capabilities and ultimately elevate and unify our brand voice across the globe in order to strengthen and scale our presence in the market.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee creative marketing production for all marketing initiatives within Funimation and lead the in-house creative production / producer team (A/V + Packaging Design + Digital)
• Manage and forecast the AV, Digital, OOH and Print production budget for creative projects and campaigns
• Oversee the creative implementation and management of asset management tools and develop a process that helps the business scale globally
• Improve and implement project management tools that are built to scale and create communication efficiencies
• Ensure campaigns are executed with 360 concepts including omni-channel deliverables that are on brand and on strategy
• Collaborate with other team leads and provide appropriate strategic thinking in all phases of business and project development
• Communicate resource availability and prioritization of projects to business leaders utilizing internal PM tool
• As our business begins to scale, ensure our marketing processes are also able to scale to our global markets
• Ensure all creative best practices are shared and followed within the company to deliver high quality creative that meets Funimation's OKRs and follows brand and franchise title guidelines
• Determine and manage key production and creative operations vendor relationships, e.g., project management systems, video production systems, budgeting programs, etc.
• Oversee production for different channels within the company and ensure strong relationships are built to support production for: Audience Development/Social, Paid Media, CRM/email, Shop Marketing, Funimation Brand. Franchise / Title marketing, Packaging design, Experiential Marketing and Partnerships.

Requirements:
• 7-9 years in production leadership roles for marketing services, creative service agencies, network promotions or a similar field (broadcast, digital, print, and/or experiential a plus)
• Primary skills include: excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and collaboration, problem solving, time and project management
• Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Grace under pressure with a strong sense of collaboration
• In addition to having a passion for all types of content, this individual also has her/ his finger on the pulse of pop culture and social trends in design, marketing and advertising.
• She/ he is passionate about anime and Japanese culture
