JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for an Implementation Shop Supervisor to join our Technical Operations team. You will be stepping into a hands-on role with the addition of supervisory oversight (i.e. coordinate vacation and sick time of crew members) and work with management, design engineers, and crew members on project installations.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attend project planning meetings and assign crew members to project installations
• Collaborate with management and design engineers on projects/deadlines
• Provide status on all projects and maintain the inventory of cable, connectors, tools, and other materials
• Perform installation of cable and electronic hardware in job-site environments, including both new construction and retrofits
• Mechanical and metalwork customization may be encountered

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum 5 years of experience with oversight of crews responsible for broadcast systems installations
• Associates degree in Electronic Engineering, technical certificate or equivalent education/experience is preferred
• Flexibility in work schedule; you may be required to work weekends and/or evenings as projects dictate
• Must be able to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, pull cable, etc
• Technical proficiency required with all broadcast cable types, including coax, multi-pair, data, and RF
• Knowledge of the use of Excel, label printers, and AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of all audio, video, communications, RF control, and LAN connector types
• The ability to read and understand cable run lists and single line diagrams
• Demonstrated ability to produce well organized and accurate installations
• Skills in terminating optical fiber is a plus, but not required
