Senior Game Graphics Programmer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our San Diego Studios team here at Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation! We seek a Senior Programmer proficient with C++, C# and graphics to develop and optimize our bestselling reoccurring MLB - The Show gaming series for next-gen gaming environments.

Responsibilities:
• Learn, maintain and improve existing in-engine graphics runtime code for game and user-interface (Custom Graphics API/C++)
• Learn, maintain and improve existing tool-side graphics code for game and user-interface (SharpDX API/C#)
• Research and experiment with new implementation techniques

Requirements:
• 6 years' experience of game industry (or related) experience
• Professional experience programming graphics
• Strength in C/C++ and C#
• Strength in 3D Graphics APIs and math
• Exposure to DirectX (experience with SharpDX is a plus)
• Experience with modern rendering techniques and engine-related issues
• Ability to write efficient/compact code for game consoles with limited resources
• Design and implementation of modular and easily extensible solutions
• Strong communication ability
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
