DESCRIPTION:

ViacomCBS is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the ViacomCBS Global Tech Finance team in New York, NY.

The Financial Analyst will support the Tech Finance Division of ViacomCBS and will focus primarily on creating and updating the financial analyses of the technology transformation initiatives. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for monthly reporting and financial modeling for the Integration Management Office (IMO).

As part of an aligned FP&A team, the Financial Analyst will report directly into the Manager of Tech Finance, will assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and creating analyses to assist in driving informed decision making.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain monthly Tech transformation forecast and actuals, including variance analysis. This process includes creating and documenting all financial analyses necessary to update the Integration Management Office (IMO) excel model.
• Prepare monthly Integration Management Office (IMO) presentations based on input from department heads.
• Update monthly financial models and detailed monthly variance analysis for senior leadership.
• Maintain weekly technology spend reports including all technology related requests requiring CTO approval.
• Work with cross-functional teams to complete monthly forecast reporting.
• Prepares/reviews budgets, quarterly estimates, including analysis and reporting for P&L.
• Assists in monthly P&L forecasts and variance analysis.
• Prepares ad-hoc reports to support monthly transformation initiatives and special projects.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of the business entities/department(s) supported.
• Communicate across ViacomCBS Corporation Technology and Finance resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in Finance.
• Strong quantitative and technical skills, especially Excel modeling.
• Strong communication skills necessary for building relationships with management and the Finance organization.
• Able to work under pressure with tight deliverables.
• Enthusiastic team player.
• Previous experience in the entertainment industry a plus.
