Live Quality Assurance Manager (Apex Legends)

We're looking for an experienced QA Manager for the Apex Legends team who will embrace our philosophy and share your hard-earned expertise to help us create an incredible experience for our players. We're picturing someone who can ease communication across our team, organize cross-location considerations and risks, and help our team hit their goals. If this sounds like you, we're looking forward to seeing your resume. You will work on a massively successful game in a growing Battle Royale genre that has reached over 100 million players. The work you will do will directly affect and improve current workflows, processes, and best practices across all of our QA teams. We hope to use your professional experience in QA to guide teams forward so we can better meet our live service goals and plans.

What you'll do…
• You will work with studios and our QA teams to determine and agree on quality assurance standards procedures and specifications
• You are professional/career management for QA members
• You work with partners from production, development, art, and engineering teams
• You will implement new change management strategies to better set the team up for the future of live service QV on Apex
• You will work on-site with QA testers and lead to establishing processes, workflows, and systems
• You will build relationships between studio and vendor leadership to achieve agreement
• You are good at gauging and measuring the performance of the vendor through Measurements and metric-based analysis
• You will do project capacity planning and can plan for spike periods
• You will challenge existing testing methodologies and processes to help us achieve better releases and post-release support
• You have a deep sense of care around the requirements and testing needs of a live service product and can respond to situations.
• You will report to the Development Director.

You will have…
• 5+ years as a QA Manager at a games company
• Experience working with live service or Gaas on a large AAA title or mobile game.
• Knowledge of game development.
• An understanding of the dynamics behind live service operations.
• High proficiency with bug reporting and related software.
• Empathy for fixing the problems of others, respect for others' time.
