Legal Assistant

Job Description

Endeavor's legal department is seeking an assistant to support several corporate attorneys. The corporate legal team works across geographies and is responsible for a broad range of transactional and business-related legal work and works closely with the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Financial Officer and other company leaders. This position is based in New York. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in corporate legal work and an insatiable desire to learn more. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in learning about the function of a corporate legal department at a major entertainment/media company.

Duties will include:
• Maintaining busy attorney calendars; coordinating team and client meetings
• Joining meetings and taking very accurate notes
• Handling phone calls and communicating with colleagues and clients on behalf of attorneys
• Keeping corporate legal team organized by tracking projects and deadlines and organizing legal documents
• Other administrative duties

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional oral and written communications
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills
• Ability to juggle several projects at one time and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability as new responsibilities are assigned
• Desire to learn about the legal department at a major entertainment/media company
