Production Assistant (Temporary)

The Team
Courageous, CNN's Brand Studio, is seeking an East Coast based Production Assistant to help our Production and Operations teams. This position contributes to the production of relevant branded content for major advertisers distributed to the CNN audience, a network available to more than 2 billion people in more than 200 countries and territories, spanning TV, Web, Social Media, Airports and Mobile Devices.

The Job
This role is responsible for providing operations, production and technical support to the Senior Production Engineer across multiple stages of our video production workflow. The PA will work remotely and collaborate through various tools and software in a fast-paced creative environment. This role is 40/hrs a week on a temporary basis.

The Daily
• Procure equipment and supplies, coordinate and organize couriers and shipping logistics, receive items, update the inventory system
• Maintain tracking tool of all productions in progress; take notes during production meetings
• Record conference (Zoom) calls and assist with real-time technical and production needs
• Create spreadsheets and other lists for production and operations tasks
• Schedule appointments and prepare presentation materials
• Store, organize and managing digital files
• Create production workflow documents
• Support the 'wrap-up' of production shoots
• Close accounts with necessary vendors
• Monitor expenditures and submit for reconciliation
• Assist with the on boarding process for staff and freelancers

The Essentials
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Office Software, such as MS Excel and Word
• Highly organized, detail oriented with clerical skills
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and with flexibility to meet deadlines
• Ability to drive a car is a plus
