Your Mission

The Manager of Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for (1) managing timely and accurate consolidation of the Company's subsidiaries as part of the Corporate monthly close process in accordance with US GAAP as well as (2) performing corporate accounting and reporting functions.

The position requires a comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, hedge accounting, foreign currency issues, month end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, controls, and analytics. The position will work closely with the corporate accounting and tax group, global territories and business unit accounting/finance teams to ensure worldwide trial balances are correct and validated, intercompany transactions properly reflect relationships in accordance with the structure, and eliminations, corporate treasury-related entries and foreign exchange entries are booked.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
• Oversee and manage monthly global accounting closes including preparation and communication of global close calendars, close progression and acting as the global point person for related inquiries.
• Prepare and/or review of accounting entries for corporate transactions (i.e. FX, intercompany, hedge accounting, etc.), account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
• Maintain integrity of global account balances in connection with internal and external reporting.
• Review and analysis of consolidated financial statements and global reporting packages.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analyses and reporting of the close process and KPI's
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and develop/refine GL accounting processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvements.
• Participate as a key stakeholder in all Oracle-related activities such as changes to the global chart of accounts, ledgers, entity reporting hierarchies, user access (security), consolidation mappings and other processes/controls.
• Manage and maintain the accounting module within the Company's treasury accounting system
• Manage the consolidations team, including but not limited to; staffing, work assignments, and performance management to ensure company initiatives are met
• Ad Hoc reporting and financial support as needed
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:
• 7+ years in a large public accounting firm at the manager level or commercial experience
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, hedge accounting, foreign currency issues, month end close process, eliminations and consolidation, controls, and internal reporting & analytics
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive and influence business solutions
• Problem solver with strong analytical skills and attention to details
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on robust Excel skills

Extra Points:
• Prior experience in managing global financial monthly close process preferred
• Experience with Oracle and/or other ERP systems, Hyperion Essbase, OBIEE Answers, Kyriba TMS, etc. preferred
