Job Description

WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the dominant local news outlet in the Eastern Carolinas, is looking for a DIGITAL EXECUTIVE PRODUCER to lead news coverage on our digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage digital-first team and contributions of broadcast staff
• Lead short-term and long-term planning for news coverage and special projects on digital platforms with an emphasis on unique presentation, depth, and growing video views
• Grow and enforce systems for rapid response to breaking news and weather
• Train new employees and grow staff through regular feedback
• Post stories, video, and audio on WBTW.com, the News13 app, and WBTW's social media platforms
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• Newsroom leadership experience
• At least two years of journalism experience on digital platforms
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and basic coding
