Product Manager, CBS All Access

Job Description

CBS Interactive is looking for a product manager to join the CBS All Access team. CBS All Access is a fast-growing streaming platform, offering services across web, mobile, and OTT devices. When All Access was launched, CBS became the first broadcast company to create a paid service without partnering with a paid cable provider. In short, we broke new ground in the industry by providing robust, interactive services with unprecedented access to local content. Role Details:

This role will report to the Director of Product and work closely with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to define platform requirements; prioritize requirements based on business goals and platform KPIs; and deliver great experiences to our users.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Manage scrum team activities (grooming, planning, standups, story writing, and prioritization)
• Clearly define feature requirements and business logic for the scrum team and design partners
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and partners to implement and manage product releases; direct QA efforts; and to grow ongoing third party relationships
• Set KPI-driven priorities for the scrum team and work to achieve the desired outcome
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to become knowledgeable about the customer, their habits, and their needs
• Align various stakeholders (marketing, operations, data tracking, etc.) on delivery scope and in preparation for launch
• Support strategic discussions on the future direction of the product and user experience
• Maintain a roadmap and regularly review with stakeholders and partners
• Manage cross-functional relationships and work through competing priorities with ease
• Operate both independently and as part of a broader team; juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment
• Work to meet agreed upon time frames / target dates with the scrum team and PMO partners
• Additional other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• 3+ years of experience in product management and directly managing a scrum team, across mobile and/or OTT platforms
• Experience leading a scrum team and confident in independently managing a scrum team
• Comfortable drafting detailed product requirements from user stories to Product Requirement Documents
• Good communicator who is able to speak to team members of all levels
• Passionate about user experience and mobile platforms
• Comfortable analyzing data and presenting to stakeholders
• Knowledgeable about tech and product best practices
• Comfortable with Jira, Omniture, Tableau

You might also have -
• Proficient in G Suite and MS Office
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, media or relevant fields preferred
