Job Description

We are looking to hire a Director of Creative Marketing on our Talent Relations & Awards team. This is a great opportunity to join a team that leads the development of some of the most high-profile, critically acclaimed titles on our slate.

The Role

In this role, you will be a key contributor and leader in developing strategy, executing and managing awards marketing campaigns for film and series. You will be a member of a small, seasoned and nimble group of professionals based in Netflix's Hollywood office.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in the awards space, running 360 awards-campaigns, from strategy development to tactical execution and long tail reactive strategies (including print, out-of-home, AV, digital).
• Is able to handle multiple campaigns at one time, can thrive in a fast paced environment and anticipate and react seamlessly to necessary pivots.
• Is a cross-functional leader who is able to engage, listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on overall strategy and goals, seeing the cross-functional collaboration through launch.
• Is able to effectively communicate different facets of their campaigns to executives, showrunners, talent and talent representatives.
• Has knowledge of social platforms from both an organic and paid perspective and understanding of how to build a reactive strategy using data and insights across community management and engagement metrics.
• Is an effective team leader and manager in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. Your team will have multiple launch campaigns happening at once.

Core Responsibilities:
• You will oversee awards and marketing campaigns from creative strategy development to execution and production.
• Position and develop the strategic framework for awards films and series creative plans and execute based on that strategy.
• Act as the central cross-functional liaison amongst internal teams, with a focus on managing workflow and being able to socialize, absorb, organize and address cross-functional feedback.
• Work directly with creative agencies - giving feedback to agencies based on internal conversations (being willing to experiment when warranted).
• Shepherd scope, budget, and overall campaign resources.

Qualifications

The successful candidate possesses:
• A minimum 10 years of experience at an entertainment marketing department, network/studio marketing team, or entertainment creative agency working on title launch campaigns (in strategy, Print, Digital, Social and AV creative).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on 360 awards campaigns.
• Experience working with talent is a must.
• Experience managing a high volume of campaign types in parallel, while collaborating with diverse, geographically-dispersed teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills along with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Reasonable appreciation and comfort with the unknown.
• University Degree in related field preferred.
• Passion for television and movies awards is a must.

Compensation
