Production Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities
Judge Jerry is seeking a Production Assistant to assist with all aspects of the show's production. This is a Run of Show position that has an anticipated end date of November 2020.
• Work with litigants who will appear on the show while they are in town for taping
• Involvement in all show-day procedures, assist the Producing and Production teams in all stages of production
• Work with Directing team to make sure all show elements have been received and maintain evidence
• Book court cases to appear on the show

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 6 months TV experience with a talk show, news or court program, or other relevant experience (including internships) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating the internet
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends

Desired Characteristics
• Experience with daytime talk shows a plus
• Minimum 1-year TV Production experience (including internships) preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking guests for television
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
• Superior organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
