Job Description

Entercom Madison has an opening for a Sales Administration Manager (SAM). This is a cross functional position which will assist in bringing efficiencies to workflow and will support Entercom Madison's Sales Management team as well as the Corporate Sales Operations and Revenue Management teams. This position will also support Sales Managers, Sales Staff, and act a liaison between Account Executives and clients when appropriate, and to perform other such duties as my be required for the efficient operations of the stations. Ideal candidate is energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively fast paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Improve order workflow and efficiency by becoming point on all sales order approvals. This will also include checking to ensure all the data points, priority codes and other aspects of the order are correct prior to approval.
• Oversee management of our CRM Database (Salesforce) including sales training, troubleshooting, maintenance and reporting.
• Assist the Revenue Management team on inventory management, rate card system, political rates, and other items as needed.
• Work closely with other Sales Administration Managers (SAMs) across Entercom on sharing of best practices and ideas.
• Assistant a team of Account Executives and Sales Management by entering sales orders and enter commercial trafficking
• Create sales presentations by compiling data, developing presentation formats and materials
• Creating and/or maintaining all sales packages, one-sheets, media kits and monthly, quarterly data
• Create ad campaign recaps for client review
• Assist with preparing proposals and promotions
• Interact closely with the Traffic Department to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and tracking of sales data
• Act as station liaison back-up for cluster national sales team
• Set up and confirmation of national orders and commercial schedules
• Interact with Entercom national sales representatives to coordinate and assist in promotion execution as needed
• Perform general administrative duties for sales management and sales department
• Provide reception desk coverage as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities may include:
• Research to assist in development of client marketing strategies.
• Producing regular reports such as: returning/non-returning business, weekly sales and activity reports, and diagnostic reports.
• Aggregating data such as Miller Kaplan, Miller-Kaplan X-Ray, and Media Monitors.
• Daily interaction with account executives and sales management, assisting in any way possible to free up time for sales to sell.
• Potentially supporting a second market.
• Other Sales Department support activities as needed.

Qualifications:
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including excellent Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
• Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented, solid time management skills and the ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
• Experience with automated CRM program, along with Wide Orbit or other traffic software experiences a plus.
• Previous sales or radio sales experience a plus.
• Some travel may be required if an additional market is being supported by this role.
• The right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• The right candidate will be knowledgeable and comfortable with Microsoft Excel, both creating and updates for metrics measurements.

• To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• In addition, the right candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the following skills: data entry, reporting, basic graphic design and internet research. Salesforce experience is a plus.
