Job Description

UMG is looking for a candidate to provide operational and functional leadership with implementing SAP S4/Hana Fashion & Retail solution, as Director of SAP Business Solutions. The Director initially will be part of a core solution design team focused on implementing order-to-cash (O2C) and procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions, working alongside business and technical teams. After project implementation, the Director will assume responsibility for enhancing SAP solutions to drive continuous improvement and business benefits.

How you’ll CREATE:
• Own and lead the design, testing and implementation of a new SAP solution to support multiple lines of business and end-to-end processes
• Provide requirements for technical integration of SAP solution with other UMG host systems and external parties
• Provide oversight to ensure SAP solution works seamlessly with other add-on applications, such as product life-cycle & warehouse management systems
• Work with key process owners to learn UMG business and document requirements for new SAP solution
• As a member of the core project Delivery Management Group, ensure project is delivered successfully (on time, on budget, with quality, while meeting/exceeding project objectives)
• Manage SAP project tasks, issues, risks and key deliverables
• Working alongside SAP project office, prepare status reports and host project and executive steering committee meetings to review progress on SAP project
• Working with end-users to define and prioritize system enhancements to improve productivity and operational efficiencies.
• Provide first line of business & operational support for any SAP related inquiries or issues

Roles & Responsibilities
• SAP Project Delivery. Co-manage project with business and technical workstream leads to ensure SAP solution is implementing successfully
• Subject Matter Expertise. Provide highly advanced functional knowledge and expertise for SAP O2C, P2P and Fashion & Retail vertical
• Requirements Definition. Lead, facilitate, and mentor others in requirements gathering and functional specification activities. Work with business and IT teams to ensure business requirements are validated, documented to achieve system development goals
• Solution Design. Perform detailed analysis of relevant business process requirements and design appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document functional and technical specifications. Identify gaps, issues and find work-around solutions
• System Configuration. Responsible for hands-on configuration delivering a high-quality solution that meet the overall business requirements for SAP solution
• System and User Acceptance Testing. Facilitate all SAP testing activities. Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Go-Live Training & Support. Provide training to UMG Operations teams, provide go-live and user support as required. This includes validation of master and transaction data to support data migration activities preceding go-live.

General Requirements
• Meet objectives and goals set by project Delivery Management Group and line manager and adhere to software development standards
• Support regular system maintenance tasks, such as the implementation of Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, etc.
• Troubleshoot and help manage interfaces to other up and downstream systems such as EDI, FAP, etc
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
• Work self-directed and independently
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a full cycle SAP implementation as well as post go-live support
• Minimum of 5+ years designing and configuring SAP modules.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience of designing organization structure and processes to support O2C & P2P
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
• Understanding of Media Supply Chain Operational processes
• Understanding of Fashion & Retail processes
• Proven interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Expresses written ideas, thoughts, or facts in a clear, convincing, and organized way
• Embraces teamwork; shares ideas and methods to improve performance
• Must be results-oriented, demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
• BS in Computer science, Engineering or equivalent
