Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Anchor weekend newscasts. Report as needed and assigned. Anchoring duties may include live field anchoring and other special events. Be an energetic, effective, clear communicator when telling and selling a story. Present material in a compelling and engaging manner. Must be good at research. Excellent ability to conduct live unscripted interviews. Ability to ad-lib effectively. Contribute regularly to social media efforts. Minimum three years' experience reporting and anchoring. College degree is preferred in a communications related field. Superior knowledge of current events. Strong command of English language; working knowledge of libel laws and generally accepted journalistic ethics. Must exercise good judgment. Must have extensive, proven anchoring/reporting experience in television news. Must be a highly creative, motivated self-starter, team player and newsroom leader. Strong social media skills. Knowledge of newsroom computer systems. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Must be able to drive company vehicles. Provide demo reel of work in resume/cover letter.
