JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX News Sunday is looking for an experienced and motivated freelance producer with extensive experience writing, producing and packaging for television. You should have excellent editorial judgment and a strong knowledge/interest in national politics. We're looking for someone who can handle and manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple assignments in a highly produced environment as well as in breaking news coverage.

You will be offered the following shift: Tuesday – Saturday 8A-4P, and Sundays as needed .

Please note that this freelance position is a short-term assignment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulate and craft pitches for the Power Player of the Week segment
• Pitch and execute strong, newsworthy profiles
• Generate ideas
• Produce packaged pieces and live shots remotely in a telework environment
• Write scripts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of feature production in broadcast, print or digital work environment
• Exceptional editorial judgment and logistics coordination
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize on a daily basis, especially in breaking news situations and in a remote work environment
• Self-starter who is able to work independently, remotely, as well as in a team environment
• Familiarity with rights and clearances and licensing
• Familiarity with iNews, VIZ
• Digital tape and graphic experience
• Flexibility to work various shifts when needed
