Overview and Responsibilities

Together with the VP, Business and Legal Affairs Systems, this role is responsible for all aspects of development and support for a ViacomCBS Rights Management System (RMS).

Responsibilities
• Oversee the continued development of the licensing side of a RMS, including system functionality for contract entry and reporting (sales and availability)
• Review and provide input on existing RMS functionality with an eye to maximizing system efficiencies
• Coordinate with US based Rights In team, HQ and International business and support teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Info Technology), and the vendor to progress RMS licensing capture and output
• Devise and coordinate the business's testing plans, see opportunities for operational system optimization and report RMS issues
• Draft progress reports and presentations and deliver to senior management
• Collect, interpret, and analyze licensing agreements across all of business lines (affiliate, digital, sales) to determine necessary system functionality
• Develop and implement strategies for ensuring the integrity of data input
• Establish policies and procedures for reporting (sales/avails)
• Train staff on entry, reporting, and function as go-to person for RMS (reporting and entry)

Basic Qualifications
• College degree
• Experience with rights management systems (Salesforce, RMS or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

Additional Qualifications
• Experience with licensing at a media company preferred
• Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, project management, and organizational skills
• Effective client-support skills and experience
• Attention to detail, ability to handle and prioritize simultaneous responsibilities
• Keen ability to understand and re-assess on a constant basis the day, week, and year's priorities, and handle matters accordingly. Communicate priorities and needs internally as well as externally
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment across time zones across international media environments and cultures, and ability to communicate with multicultural client groups
