Overview

As the Metadata Analyst, Central Repertoire and Metadata Group, you will play a key role in maintaining Sony Music's global metadata quality in order to support critical business outcomes with high quality data. You will develop, study and improve metadata while managing projects & assessing underlying business needs that affect virtually every department within Sony, providing you with an exciting opportunity to impact our business on a global scale.

What you'll do:
• Support our labels in creating, maintaining and monitoring global metadata, with a focus on Repertoire and Licensing metadata
• Create and examine standard system and ad-hoc reports to identify trends and challenges facing the business
• Investigate metadata errors, identify root causes and deliver business solutions
• Collaborate with colleagues across the SONY organization to identify best practices and process improvements
• Participate in strategic planning and business/IT conversations that steer continuous improvements
