Meteorologist (PT Temp)

The weather department at KRQE News 13 is looking for a part-time, freelance Meteorologist.

Responsibilities include producing & anchoring weather reports for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers in various news programs. The schedule calls for working some evenings, noon show three days a week, and fill in for vacation which would include weekends. Even though the assignment is temporary we will guarantee a minimum of 24 hours per week with additional hours as needed.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Two years of television (on-air) experience preferred.
Excellent writing & producing skills.
Ability to communicate clearly on-air.
Possess unique storytelling techniques.
Knowledge of WSI Weather Producer is helpful.
