As VP of Creative and Strategic Marketing, you will help define our strategic mission internally and define our difference in a diverse Bay Area marketplace.

You will:
• Provide strong leadership to the creative services team, to help teams drive brand, ratings, and revenue goals for us and for our business partners
• Encourage risk taking and celebrate failures as paths to successful innovation
• Have a keen sense of judgment, able to identify trends and marketing opportunities
• Manage a team of passionate and talented creatives
• Lead the conversation about messaging, promotion, and external campaigns
• Build important relationships between key stakeholders across the organization
• Establish, manage and grow relationships/partnerships with local vendors to maximize ROI
• Be an exceptionally strong, polished and confident communicator, both internally and externally

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field required
• Minimum of 7 years of creative services and marketing experience, with a supervisory-level background at a broadcast, local station, cable television or related environment

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in San Jose, CA
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to work a flexible schedule and shifts, including nights and weekends

• Experience in executing news strategy and promotion
• Deep knowledge of multimedia trends
• Strong strategic and analytical skill set
• Experience developing and managing budgets
• Good collaborative and interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
• Bilingual, English/Spanish, a plus
