Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Create, develop and produce daily television newscast. Select content and assign stories to writers and editors and copy edit that content. Write stories and teases for newscasts. Collaborate with Executive Producers and news management production staff to ensure newscast is consistent with overall station mission. Collaborate with Promotion Producers on pre-newscast teases. Conceptualize graphics, video wall/monitor displays and other visual newscast elements. Incorporate digital and social media content into newscasts. React and respond immediately to breaking news. Monitor show timing to ensure newscast breaks and off-times are executed correctly.

3-5 years of experience line producing for local TV, cable or network newscast. Solid news judgment with emphasis on winning breaking news. Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills with an ability to multitask. Excellent people skills, with professional demeanor in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge of newsroom computer systems, particularly iNews and BitCentral. Understanding of visual news tools like video walls and graphics to enhance overall newscast production. Knowledge of social media, web based workflows for producing, posting and uploading video and graphics. Major market experience preferred. College degree preferred.
