Job Description

Responsible, across all platforms, for the Company’s digital strategy, channel management, content curation and production - whilst contributing to the company’s longer-term objectives for creative excellence, innovation and business growth.

Working alongside our Marketing and Content Development teams you will be both a digital strategist and creative - responsible for managing the Company’s network of channels whilst also producing entertaining original short-form content for brands and broadcasters. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that we are able to reach out and engage with new audiences, utilise emerging platforms, develop exciting, fully integrated propositions for our artists and deepen engagement with all our content whilst maximising revenue.

Skills & Experience

Channel Management
• You will manage a team of digital and social media producers creating and curating quality content across our integrated network of digital channels
• You will look to increase subscriptions and maximise the revenues we generate from our digital channels
• You will devise a social media strategy that will support our digital channels whilst driving audiences to our other content, which will help promote our artists and their work

Commercial and Business Growth
• You will oversee the Company’s digital partnership strategy to generate commercial opportunities and unlock new revenue streams
• You will be across global trends in content consumption and constantly looking to evolve your strategy and deliver efficiencies and creative innovation through the use of emerging and exciting new platforms
• You will help explore how our digital platforms can help best distribute our content and evolve and enhance our sales and digital marketing campaigns

Content Development
• You will look to develop new digital content propositions to take to market
• Working alongside UMG’s creative and commercial arm, you’ll work up exciting proposals for campaigns and brands that require engaging and entertaining digital content solutions
• You’ll work on linear TV formats that would be enhanced with an integrated multi-platform approach and on original short-form and mid-form music based content commissions for platforms and broadcasters

Content Production
• Responsible for articulating the creative vision and technical ambitions for all digital production across all our digital platforms
• You will oversee all short-form, multi-platform and social content through the production process
• You will ensure all short-form productions meet buyers’ and UMG’s diversity standards
• During production you will be the primary contact for clients, commissioning editors or brand partners looking to convey their creative concerns or technical input during production and will troubleshoot accordingly

Talent Relationships
• You’ll be spotting upcoming content creators, influencers or socially aware artists that we should be working with across our marketing campaigns and on our digital content
