Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Overview
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging and exciting written copy pertaining to season-long fantasy, daily fantasy (DFS) and sports betting, including slogans, headlines, and body content across various marketing campaigns for NBC Sports and our partners. This person in this role needs to have a thorough understanding of the company's products so they can properly convey the marketing messaging across various channels. The individual will also assist the marketing department on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet marketing goals. This person should be creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, as well as have knowledge of and familiarity with fantasy sports/sports betting.
• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Assist in developing comprehensive reports detailing all key email marketing metrics including delivery, open rates, click rates, conversion, opt-out, and segmentation analysis
• Recommendations for test email campaigns based on different copy & creative
• Coordinate email content with the editorial team to ensure content is as timely and relevant as possible
• Assist with creation and uploading of graphics in Adobe Photoshop
• Assist with creation and strategy placement of Digioh Lightboxes
• Perform quality assurance checks for all email launches
• Assist in developing marketing plans to grow database
• Support the Manager, Consumer Engagement with all projects related to this position

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Prior knowledge or experience in sports betting/fantasy sports (both season-long & daily fantasy) and experience in sports in general is required
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing and promotions, highly preferred in an online B2C environment
• Experience creating well written & engaging marketing copy
• Experience assisting in e-mail aspects of retention focused marketing campaigns, including experience with analytical tools and mass communication marketing solutions
• Knowledge of marketing tactics, email best practices, & Adobe Photoshop is a plus
• Basic computer knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Basic HTML, CSS and graphic design skills is a plus
• Basic familiarity with email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, etc.) a plus
