Job Description

With the ongoing success of Disney+ in NZ it is essential to continue the momentum and maximise Disney's local marketing efforts. This new role is designed two-fold - 1. To support the Brand & Media Manager in the execution of local marketing plans. 2. To drive D+ commercial partnerships in the NZ market.
-This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract


Media Planning and Analysis

Support NZ Brand & Media Manager to –
• Review ANZ media strategies
• Input into local briefs
• Plan and implement paid media campaigns
• Create strong relationship with media agency and manage timely, consistent comms with them
• Deep understanding of the Performance Marketing data and analytics to shape future media planning decisions

Creative Development
• Support D+ Brand & Media Manager in development of local creative materials
• Review ANZ and Global creative materials ensuring materials best suited for the NZ market making recommendations to Brand & Media Manager
• Collaborate closely with ANZ Creative Team in Melbourne so NZ requirements delivered on time
• Manage local materials trafficking process to media owners thus avoiding penalties
• Forge close relationship with local creative agency

Local Partnerships
• Support senior team in the prospecting of potential new partners
• Create & localise Disney+ partnership pitch materials
• Attend client facing partnership meetings as required
• Ensure partnership creative process managed effectively

Social – Owned Platforms
• Liaise closely with ANZ Social Team in Melbourne
• Ensure all comms are relevant for NZ market and plans implemented to time and expectations
• Ongoing analysis of NZ specific campaigns
• Manage feedback loop to ANZ Social Team to optimise future plans / content
• Ensure NZ geo targeted comms are secured as and when required

Adhoc Disney+ Support
• Availability to support any other adhoc marketing or commercial opportunities in NZ
• Input into planning and execution of Disney+ events / showcases

Budget Responsibilities
• Raise purchase orders for Disney+ NZ creative, media and partnerships

Stakeholder Management
• Internal: Foster strong relationships with – o Disney+ ANZ Marketing Teams in Melbourne, Performance / Creative / Social
• External o Disney+ NZ Media & Creative agencies o Disney+ promotional partners

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years Marketing / Sales experience o Media planning o Creative Development o Digital & Social experience essential
• Client / Account management experience
• Keen interest in Entertainment, Streaming, TV & Movie industries

• Desire to work in fast moving, a high growth environment
• Tenacity whilst adapting to new ways of working
• Self-motivated & capable of working remotely / independently
• Confidence to pitch and sell to partners / clients
• Ability to deliver localised creative excellence in market
• Agency management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills - relationship building, collaborative

Preferred Education
• Bachelors degree preferred
