Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst in Motion Picture Planning that will handle and execute monthly/quarterly financial deliverables for Paramount's management! You will be supporting planning activities for Paramount Pictures, including coordination with Business Divisions to prepare annual Budget, quarterly Estimates, monthly Forecasts, and various ad hoc analyses!

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Maintain financial models to forecast revenues and costs on a by-film basis
• Prepare summaries of actual and forecast results for review by senior management
• Calculate impacts of various risks and opportunities with respect to forecast results (i.e. sensitivity analysis)
• Assist in preparation of Paramount's annual financial presentation materials (PowerPoint deck) to corporate parent for current/future initiatives and reports the current/future state of the company
• Liaise with Business Unit Finance, Accounting and C-Level Executives in support of the Corporate Planning process
• Monitor movements in foreign exchange rates and associated impact on forecast results
• Assist in any ad hoc materials as requested by the parent company or internal management

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 2+ years of forward-thinking experience in a finance environment in planning
• Experience with Hyperion/Smartview/Essbase

Additional Qualifications
• Previous Accounting experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with all levels within the organization
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to take ownership of a process and get results
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Film industry experience, including understanding of film accounting, NRV analysis, forecasting revenues/cost on by-film basis, window, etc
