Job Description

Overview and Responsibilities
• Lead the talent and creator partnerships team, overseeing all talent relations aspects of all VidCon events and VidCon Now including outreach, discovery, and hospitality
• Refine and develop talent process globally across VidCon
• Build and maintain deep, strong, and mutually beneficial relationships with top online digital video creators and their agents and managers
• Remain at the forefront of the digital and pop culture talent landscape, identifying new and upcoming talent that should be included in VidCon's talent roster
• Collaborate with the Programming and Content teams to identify talent and pitch new creators to be considered for events and digital content
• Negotiate talent contracts for live shows and digital content along with third-party sales teams to secure and negotiate talent deals with brand partners and assist in overseeing the execution on the ground
• Oversee and direct all elements of event-based talent hospitality including bespoke white-glove travel and on-the-ground experiences for all talent
• Expand on existing relationships between VidCon and agencies, management companies, record labels, etc., and establish new ones
• Work closely with ViacomCBS and ViacomCBS Digital Studios talent departments to develop and coordinate talent process for on the ground activities and share insights and strategies to maximize talent asks across the company
• Guide VidCon's international talent teams through building process, workflows, and communication.
• Travel to necessary VidCon events to assist the Guest Team with on-site talent management and lead all aspects of talent management at VidCon in Anaheim and London
• Ability to advocate for and on behalf of VIP talent relating to their VidCon guest experience
• All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
• 6+ years working with creators and/or talent either at a talent agency, management company, MCN or similar
• 2+ years managing teams in a leadership position
• Experience with talent contracts and brand deal negotiations
• BA, BS or similar 4-year degree from an accredited college preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop rapport and establish trust with creators, agents and managers
• Strong computer experience, specifically with CRM software, Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• In-depth knowledge of travel booking services
• Deep love of all aspects of online video

Additional Qualifications
• Hospitality or travel industry experience a plus
• Events experience a plus
• Experience booking and a general knowledge of the music industry a plus
