Position

We are currently looking for an experieced Post Production Manager.

The Post Production Manager oversees part of the day-to-day operations of the video and audio post production group.

Summary

To work in conjunction with the Director, Post Production to oversee a portion of the day-to-day work in the post production department.
Oversee operators, assign projects, and manage priorities within the workflows that have been assigned to the Post Production Manager by the Director, Post Production.

Collaborate with Director, Post Production regarding resources needed to successfully complete the work the manager is in charge of overseeing.

In conjunction with the Director, Post Production, work alongside project coordinators and QC to provide advice and direction on technical issues.

Perform performance reviews of direct reports.

Attend meetings to report status updates and any significant factors that can affect our ability to produce the highest quality work within expected deadlines.

In conjunction with the Director, Post Production, help train/inform other members of the production team with regards to workflows, procedures, and new technology.

Helps with post work when required.

Requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience or 5+ years working as part of a production teams is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills including ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specification documents / requests
• Ability to pivot quickly and fluidly, think practically and be solution-oriented.
• Prior post production experience required.
• Familiarity with multiple editing suites, media production tools (E.G Vantage), and automated QC tools (E.G Baton)
• Prior programming experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of standard file formats and technical specifications
• Experience developing and implementing standard workflows for post production teams a plus
• Strong capability to multi-task and prioritize multiple demands.
• Experience developing and documenting technical workflows is a plus

Salary range: $28-$38/hour
