Associate Project Manager - Subtitling

Position

The Associate Project Manager (APM) is a member of the Subtitle team, which is responsible for the coordination, creation, translation, and quality control of all subtitle projects within the business. The Associate Project Manager serves as a liaison between internal ZOO teams and is responsible for facilitating the workflow with internal and external resources from project start to completion.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: administrative duties, verifying timelines of project deliveries and keeping up with the deadlines. Creating work orders, and creating and maintaining project status. The goal of the Associate Project Manager is to be an effective communicator and complete projects on time and within scope while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Essential functions:
• Assigning and coordinating all assigned projects and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Liaising with internal clients, external vendors and team members.
• Completing administrative duties which include but not limited to setting up of projects and project management using our internal workflow management system, maintenance and updating of our database, creating internal work-orders.
• Knowing how to use ZOOcore and ZOOsubs.
• Provide support to operators on client style guides and the use of our internal tools.
• Perform quality control of subtitles created by translators, always ensuring a high standard.
• Coordinate with internal departments and resources to accomplish project completion and set project priorities.
• Coordinate with external vendors as needed.
• Successfully managing the balance between quality, profitability and customer service.
• Perform related tasks as necessary and assigned by the Project Managers.

Education and/or Experience

Preference will be given to those with previous experience in Subtitle Production, work experience with Major Studios, a background in Project Management or Administration.
