Web Solutions Engineer, Music and TV Systems

Job Description

As a Web Solutions Engineers, you will innovate and develop software-based solutions to solve complex business problems for YouTube or YouTube customers/partners.

Resonsibilities:
• Architect and design high-quality applications to solve business needs.
• Develop web applications.
• Realize organization-wide technical roadmaps and business priorities.
• Manage and drive complex technical projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in programming languages (i.e., C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
• Experience with JavaScript and front-end design.
• Experience in full stack web application development, API development, and business focused communication.

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in machine learning, data analysis, and data science.
• Experience in two or more of the following: Unix/Linux environments, cloud microservices, relational/non-relational databases, mobile application development, backend system design, data pipelines, and/or functional and integration testing.
• Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug/change management systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Music or TV business/industry.
