Job Description
As the Vice President of YouTube Gaming, you will be responsible for helping to set YouTube's future direction and growth in gaming.
You will be key to driving business objectives across the Gaming Publishers and Creators landscape through deep partnership with cross-functional teams and direct oversight of strategy, agreement execution, and partnership management globally. This includes managing existing partnerships, driving new business opportunities, identifying and resolving business trends and issues, and tracking against key metrics to proactively recommend and execute our strategies.
You will bring excellent thought leadership, cross-functional collaboration, wide-ranging team management expertise, flawless execution, and significant experience operating with multinational, matrixed teams.
You will utilize outstanding leadership, managerial, and relationship-building skills, expertise in facilitating strategic content distribution agreements, excellent executive presence, and the ability to identify issues, make recommendations, and drive cross-functional resolution. You will represent YouTube across the region and the globe and develop thought leadership and lead the advocacy for Gaming Publishers and Creators ecosystem needs.

Resonsibilities:
• Lead YouTube's Game Publisher and Creators objectives, narrative, and operations globally as a thought leader and external representative, with direct management of teams located in North America. Manage the Americas region within the matrix of a global organization, understanding how to leverage global scale.
• Develop a global strategy for the Game Publisher and Creators ecosystem, ensuring executional consistency while balancing the needs of the regions with overall global goals.
• Build, manage, and develop a team that drives the success of YouTube Gaming while fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
• Identify and quantify opportunities, risks, and needs to inform business processes, partnerships, and the product roadmap. Understand market insights and industry trends to adjust to changing circumstances.
• Influence product roadmap, driving cross-functional alignment while influencing across the entire Google organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 20 years of experience in the media/internet industries and business development
• 10 years of experience leading teams within an online or technology business
Preferred qualifications:
• Advanced degree
• Experience in complex media rights discussions, including knowledge of advertising supported and subscription distribution models, with the ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys to facilitate complete agreements
• Experience as an operationally effective, multi-region leader within a matrixed global organization
• Ability to be a thought leader/inspire others to follow, and to foster an inclusive environment supporting diversity initiatives across teams
• Ability to balance short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals as a general manager
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environment
