Job Description
As the Vice President of YouTube Creators, you will be responsible for understanding the changing Creator ecosystem and needs, driving our vision and direction across the Creator landscape, and defining and delivering business objectives and growth. In this role, you will lead and influence through partnership with cross-functional teams and direct oversight of strategy and relationships with our partners globally.
You will bring expertise in YouTube's and Google's products, identifying opportunities for their growth, launching products, and expanding the impact of our partner's video and content strategies. You will also lead and grow people and drive followership in a complex and rapidly changing environment. This role will manage global strategy for the Creator teams while driving execution and the measurement of results.

Resonsibilities:
• Lead YouTube's Creator objectives and narrative globally as a thought leader and external representative, with direct management of teams located in North America. Establish change agency across the Content Partnerships organization as a leader in the YouTube Americas team.
• Develop global strategy for the creator ecosystem, ensuring executional consistency while balancing the needs of the regions with overall global goals.
• Manage the Americas region within the matrix of a global organization and understand how to leverage global scale.
• Build, manage, and develop a team that drives the success of YouTube Creators while fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
• Leverage industry and market experience to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, and needs to inform business processes, partnerships, and the product roadmap. Understand market insights and industry trends to adjust to changing circumstances.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 20 years of experience with general management in TV/media or Internet, working with talent and content creators
• 10 years of experience leading teams within an online or technology business
Preferred qualifications:
• MBA, Master's degree, JD, or other advanced degree
• Experience as an operationally effective, multi-region leader within a matrixed global organization
• Ability to be a thought leader, think strategically, develop a vision and strategy, and inspire others to follow
• Ability to effectively balance short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals and think like a general manager
• Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys to facilitate complete agreements
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environment, and to foster an inclusive environment supporting diversity initiatives across teams
