Job Description
The YouTube Partner Experiences team leads the management of all virtual, on-demand, and in-person experiences for the YouTube Partnerships organization. Our creative team of program managers, instructional designers, and experience specialists use innovative tools and technologies to create high quality, meaningful learning experiences that drive maximum impact on a partner's success and engagement with YouTube.
As the Technical Consultant Lead, you will manage a team of vendors to operate broadcast and digital media service software (e.g., SaaS, resource management tools) and design the future scope of on-demand learning experiences as well as the technical aspects of liveshows.
Resonsibilities:
• Oversee a team of vendors, and guide communication and design based on product gaps and issues experienced by internal teams.
• Manage communications to event owners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Direct efforts to update existing solutions and create repeatable processes through effective documentation of repeatable event technology solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with YouTube internal reporting tools.
• Develop a deep understanding of the operational services, processes, and controls in place that support YouTube/Google for digital and in-person event organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• 6 years of experience in project or program management
• Experience in networking and video over IP (e.g., RTMP, NDI, SRT, WebRTC)
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in cloud computing services and deployment architecture
• Experience in automating complex manual processes and driving tool and/or API development
• Experience publishing workflows for digital content within a Content Management System
• Knowledge of HTML and Python programming languages
• Ability to study a procedure within a business area in order to identify its goals and purposes
• Ability to create systems and procedures that will achieve business goals in an efficient way
