Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening and developing relationships with music Agencies and Artist Services Companies (AASC). You will set goals to center them on driving adoption and optimization of YouTube Shorts. As these entities will fostering initiatives, collaborations, and consultancies associated with short form video in the music industry, you will be accountable for their daily partner management. You will also be responsible for the partner management of a number of artists through the incorporation of short-form video creation on YouTube Shorts.

You will interact regularly with agency and artist representatives, facilitating ongoing platform engagement, imparting knowledge of how best to use YouTube Shorts to grow audience. You will develop strategies to expand these efforts, and will work with cross-functional teams to develop tools to support creative growth of artists on Shorts.

Resonsibilities:
• Build relationships and own management/daily relationships with AASC.
• Work with partners to ensure artists and their teams are educated on Shorts, sharing best practices, case studies, and trainings.
• Collaborate with global teams to create and lead a structured approach to international expansion of workstreams.
• Provide expertise, knowledge, and support execution of, artist/music industry programs that may develop with YouTube Shorts.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience working with artists, music companies, or other video, social media, and/or artistic output fields (e.g., artist/label relations, short form video, artist marketing, etc).
• Experience working in music/digital media, either with distribution or social media platforms.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience managing clients/talent.
• Ability to build relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Ability to manage client activities simultaneously and work on cross-functional workstreams.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
