Job Description
The Global Revenue team provides strategic analysis and forecasting of Google's business generating products to executive audiences. As part of the YouTube sub-team, you will have a unique perspective on YouTube's core businesses, services, and the ecosystems that they operate within.

As a Quantitative Revenue Analyst, you will use data to solve business questions and drive strategy recommendations. You will be an integral part of a working group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Quantitative Analysts driving business generation initiatives with impact to YouTube's financial success.

You will write code to mine insights out of Google's internal ads data, analyze external data to understand the motivations and selection-making process of YouTube's users and advertisers, and communicate findings to executives.

The name Google came from ''googol,'' a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Resonsibilities:
• Research new ways of analyzing data to unlock actionable insights.
• Distill and communicate the essence of your technical work to audiences of all levels and across multiple functional areas while formulating robust, actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of the analytical frameworks, tools, skills, and culture which drive impact for Finance and YouTube.
• Work with a team of product managers, engineers, and analysts responsible for advancing YouTube Ads business generation.
• Provide analytical support and make progress to drive impact even under an ambiguous environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience involving quantitative data analysis related to online advertising
• 2 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, SQL, and presentation development

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience independently managing complex projects
• Experience in leadership with the ability to take initiative
• Ability to draw conclusions from data and present results or recommendations to executive audiences
• Ability to teach others and learn new analytical techniques, coding frameworks, etc.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and quantitative skills
