The YouTube Strategy, BizOps & Analytics (SBA) team's mission is to make YouTube commercially sustainable and more valuable, by identifying and steering the business towards the biggest opportunities, guiding the organization to make the best possible decisions, and enabling effective implementation and operations. With teams in San Bruno, Los Angeles, New York, London and Singapore, the SBA team works closely with YouTube leadership across the product, engineering and business organizations to address challenges and opportunities across the company, help chart the long-term direction for YouTube, and provide analytics & decision support for the planning and steering of the business. SBA is a multi-specialist team, with several specialist capabilities across all three pillars of the team: Strategy (Market & Competitive Intelligence, CEO Office & Corporate Strategy, Product & Business Strategy), Business Operations (Global, AMER, EMEA, APAC), and Analytics & Decision Support (Data Infrastructure, BI Products, Commercial Analytics).
As a Quantitative Business Analyst within Analytics and Decision Support, you'll be part of a community of technical data analysts who work on impactful projects analyzing the content and distribution partnerships, the creator and user ecosystem, and monetization to guide business leadership on optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our partner, operations, and revenue-facing business teams. You will work on strategic business challenges revolving around the economics of YouTube's Content Business. You will analytical support for the business teams, including performance measurement, causal impact, estimation, predictive modeling, and metric definition.
