Resonsibilities:
• Lead a team of product specialists that work on viewer-facing responsibility products (e.g., news, climate change, health, etc.).
• Create the strategy for your team, work with cross-functional executive stakeholders, and implement on product and business priorities.
• Work with teams to shape product strategy, maximize growth for existing products, craft go-to-market strategies for new products, and synthesize global market feedback.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Public Relations, Scaled Education, Operations, and Content Partnerships teams to guarantee market readiness, communications, training, and support for launches.
• Manage technical issues from the field and provide guidance on resolution to partnership teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in the technical, sales strategy, product specialist, or product marketing field.
• Experience with people management, recruitment, and talent development.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience managing projects across multiple functions and product areas.
• Understanding of Youtube's ecosystems (e.g., viewers, consumers, creators, partners), paid content, and subscription products.
• Ability to have an investigative mindset, strategically think with a keen attention to detail, and to coordinate cross-functionally.
• Excellent people management skills, with a focus on working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Skills in communication, synthesizing user feedback into findings, and translating product offerings for users.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
