Product Management Director Of Studio

Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will lead on the YouTube Creator and Data Product Team, you will be responsible for YouTube Studio, YouTube Channels, and Scaled Communications Platform. Your work will span helping existing Creators scale as their viewership and business grows on YouTube, while also building great experiences for brand new creators using Shorts and Shopping.

Resonsibilities:
• Identify, define, launch, and assess performance of your products; iterate to ensure your products meet the needs of our users.
• Lead a coalition of cross-functional teams across engineering, business, communications, legal, strategy, operations and finance to execute, launch, and land.
• Make decisions about implementation and resource trade-offs.
• Be a great communicator and storyteller, and build an excellent product narrative which clearly articulates the motivation for your project, goals, and path to success.
• Lead and grow a highly capable team of Product Managers to achieve the annual goals (both business and organization) including driving sustainable longer-term impact.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Leadership experience in Product Management, leading cross-functional teams including managers and executive leaders.
• Experience using insights and data to inform platform development.
• Experience leading the development of global platforms in a matrixed environment.
• Experience managing multiple C-level stakeholders in a viewer, creator or advertiser ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience utilizing insights and data to anticipate needs and drive the development of the platform.
• In-depth experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams (product management, implementation, legal, finance, marketing, etc.)
• Experience successfully defining, creating, executing, and delivering against business goals and driving business impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to represent and transform complex business or technical concepts externally.
