Job DescriptionTrust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
In this role, you will focus on policy development for the Monetize team on a set of products such as YouTube Ads and Monetization and Display & Video 360. You will also lead some cross-product work on transparency.
As a Product Advisor, you will advise internal Google teams on core principles, design policies and standards to address abuse risks, and enable responsible growth. You will engage with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders across Google to design thoughtful cross-product approaches on key priorities.
You are an independent, critical thinker with sound judgment who has a passion for Internet policy and legal issues and a penchant for defining precise and scalable standards, especially in areas that are still evolving. You will balance the legal and regulatory requirements we face around the world with the needs of users, partners, and advertisers, while upholding the company's core values.
