Partnerships Acquisitions Manager, YouTube (Japanese, English)

As a Partnerships Acquisitions Manager at YouTube, you'll help partners reach audiences by bringing them onto the YouTube platform and ensuring that they are set up for success. You will acquire and develop relationships with prospective partners and help them become successful on YouTube.

In this role, you will understand partner goals and help them make the most of YouTube while working with cross-functional teams to ensure our product sets our partners up for success. You will also help to provide guidance and direction to the APAC and Global acquisitions teams.

Resonsibilities:
• Identify, acquire, and onboard new content partners onto the YouTube platform.
• Provide regular outreach via call, email, and social media, and work collaboratively with your colleagues and cross-functional counterparts to develop and implement creative ways to onboard new content partners.
• Develop and lead strategic initiatives to help achieve performance goals for content partners, including maximizing watch time, platform engagement, audience growth, community interaction, product activation, and business growth.
• Provide guidance and direction to partner acquisitions managers.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working in a sales, business development, or consultative role.
• Experience with spreadsheet level analysis, presentations, and acquiring partners.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in YouTube content creation and management.
• Ability to identify and pursue strategic opportunities.
• Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against business goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and collaborative environment.
• Ability to support team growth through mentoring and best practice sharing.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
